From Sales Executive To Sales Leader

Richard Threadgold explains his FLEETCOR journey so far from Sales Executive to Sales Leader in less than 12 months.

How long have you been with FLEETCOR?

I have been with FLEETCOR since 25th July 2016.

What made you want to join FLEETCOR and how has it changed since you started?

I worked in Retail Management for ten years and wanted a change in career with a better work/home life balance. A friend advised me of vacancies within FLEETCOR and I decided to research more.

The idea of working for a global company really appealed to me and I have always wanted to work in Sales.

I was excited by the commission and decided to apply and progress through the company whilst earning sales experience.

You recently progressed from Outbound Sales Executive to Inbound Sales Leader in less than 12 months, how have you found the new role and how did you progress so quickly?

The role is very different from the Sales Executive role but the same principles apply. I am organised, thorough and have great relationships with people and this was recognised by the management team.

This combined with my experience in management allowed me to be successful in the interview process.

What is it like working in Sales at FLEETCOR?

I really enjoy the environment at FLEETCOR. The sales are a challenge but you are rewarded well for hitting targets.

The FLEETCOR Thank Yous each month as well as the extra incentives mean you always have a reason to be selling. I like the fact you manage accounts as well as the sales process.

Would you recommend FLEETCOR as a place of work?

I cannot knock FLEETCOR in any aspect - Fantastic
